What if I do not hear back from an agent?

We apologize for any delay with your request to be contacted by a local real estate specialist. There may be a limited number of qualified agents in your area who participate in our program.

Members of our Professional Network are independent real estate brokers qualified to assist with distressed and traditional property transactions.  Members are chosen for inclusion in the Professional Network based on their reputation and expertise in their service area.

Next Steps:

  1. Provide your agent with information on the type of property you would like to purchase such as:
    • Desired city or neighborhood
    • Number of bedrooms
    • Square footage
    • Price range
  2. Choose several properties on the RealtyTrac website that are of interest to you:
    • Many properties entering the initial stages of foreclosure on the RealtyTrac website are not yet listed for sale.  The distressed properties that you locate are intended to be leads on homes that may be available for purchase, either from the current owner, or from the foreclosing lender who has repossessed the property. Your real estate agent will assist you in contacting the current owners to make an offer.
  3. Inquire about other purchase opportunities
    • Ask your RealtyTrac Professional Network member about other listings they may have available to suite your needs.  Additional listings may include bank owned REO’s, short-sale purchase opportunities, and homes listed for sale.

You will be notified by e-mail once the Professional Network agent begins working on your request. If you are not contacted within 24 - 48 hours please call our Customer Support team at 800-905-5246 and we will attempt to expedite your request.

If you fail twice to be assisted it may be best for you to consider a do-it-yourself approach. As a RealtyTrac member you have access to FAQ’s, Environmental Snapshots, Property Details & History as well as helpful guides designed to empower our investors and home buyers.

If you are having difficulty making contact with agents in our network, we recommend looking online or searching your local yellow pages for a real estate agent who can assist you. The foreclosure properties listed on our website are not necessarily "on the market", which means you can seek assistance from any realtor. We do apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced and thank you for your understanding.

Becoming a member of RealtyTrac provides you with instant access to new foreclosures as soon as they hit the market.  Opportunities for you to locate properties at bargain prices across the nation are plentiful.
